We’re BAAAAaaack! MTBS is all set for the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show. We know a few MTBS members are coming down to CES as well, and there are some good deals to watch out for.
First, if you are a CES registrant, you can get a discounted rate for the monorail. While CES buses are great, the monorail will be critical for anyone getting from point A to B on a time sensitive schedule. By ordering online, you can save $4 a person on a three day pass ($24 instead of $28 a pass). There is also a 7 day pass option which is exclusive to CES registrants and is only available at the same link. You don’t have to worry about late delivery as everything is handled digitally.
Last night, we learned the hard way that it is really difficult to find a good place to eat at reasonable cost in Vegas (in certain parts) – especially at night when prices are bumped up on the buffets and casino restaurants. Last night, we were really pleased to discover Zingers at 3743 Las Vegas Blvd which is about ten minutes away from the Paris casino. A good burger, fries, and refillable soda was just $10 plus tip. That’s nothing compared to the $30+ you will spend elsewhere (per person). It’s not a fancy place – more like a friendly diner and bar. However, it’s a great way to avoid McDonalds and just enjoy a decent meal on the Vegas strip. Sure, go crazy at the buffets – this is just another option for gamers looking to budget their meals during a long CES stay.
CES Unveiled is tonight! Hope to have more to share soon!
