Sony PS3 News, Anomaly on NEXT3D

One of the biggest objections against stereoscopic 3D technology is lack of content: the fear of spending X dollars on an HDTV and having nothing to use it for. Fear not! Sony revealed today that they have over fifty games in the works including over twenty from their internal studios. We are going to follow this story up with something special within the next few days.

yeeeaaahhhhhh.
The only bad part. Well I'm horrible impatient. Crysis 2, killzone 3 they all feel like next years games.- oh wait they are.

Wow 50 games. So impressive. I'm not trying to be a downer-but. Were is the list of these 50 games. It can't be double top secret. Were is the list,the list,the list,the list. Without a list its just good salesman B.S. I'm thinking I shouldn't hold my breathe for this list.

Sony would love to give out the names of all the games, but like they said, most of them are from other studios. I doubt Sony has the authority to just go and announce all of those upcoming titles on their own terms, I am sure it goes against all manner of information disclosure contracts.

This is going to be huge. 50 3D games for PS3, plus the Nintendo 3DS coming soon. Blu-Ray 3D already gaining steam. 2011 is going to be the make or break year for mainstream 3D.

Yes, I miss Carl too. His Book "Dragons of Eden" was an amazing read for me.
Paranormal things- well my wife loves those shows. I can't stand them either. A dust speck is Not a spirit orb. The word gulable comes to mind. I come home from work and if I have the time- well its 3D game/movie time. Heck I don't even need cable. Its for the wife.

A couple of games that I would like on the list.

#1- Resistance 3 in 3D.
#2- God of war 4 in 3D.
#3- Uncharted 3 in 3D.
#4- NHL hockey in 3D.
#5- Infamous 2 in 3D.

Thats my current dream list for the PS3. Though I'm pretty sure the hardware may not be strong enough to do a few of those properly.

Just got a chance to watch the Anomaly trailer. The 3D looked pretty good actually. In terms of the content, not exactly my cup of tea. Most of those ghost shows just seem like a lot of BS. Like they will claim they saw lights or heard voices, but conveniently not recorded on the camera. And, of course, special effects could easily be done. So its hard to trust anything.
