3D Demo's & video's

Post by ribuck »

Hi all,

Has anyone come across any good 3d demo or good 3d movies. So far the imax movies i have watched only have depth, but nothing seems to pop out of the screen.

The only thing that i have seen pop out of the screen is the fish on the Zalman demo Video which was amazing.

If anyone has any good links, for good s3d demo / video content, coud you please post a link here.

Regards,
Ribuck.

If you want popout instead of depth, you could change seperation of your movie-Player. The images just have to be displayed a little more by the side. But usually it's more comfortable - and realistic - to have depth instead of popout - or maybe a little of both, but not only one thing

Did you ever hear of Stereoscopic Player?

It's free and should be able to play every S-3D file in most displaying types -including interlaced, anaglyph and pageflipping!
If you have the (old) nvidia driver, you can choose it -and it's supported display types - as well.

If you know that, you are not limited to interlaced stuff any more

yes i have heard of it and yes i have it, but you still need the original media to be interlaced, it doesn't just turn a standard movie into 3d.

I just wanted to piont out, that it should be able to display side by side or other S-3D formats in interlaced mode.

I should point out that movie players can't change separation, they can only change convergence. Convergence is what determines whether things pop out of the screen or not.
Copy this code to clipboard: 0o1rp5zk then go to http://mtbs3d.com/naw to register. Use the code for $5000 startup bonus, and to support Gaza.

Ups, carl you are absolutly right. I just thought, the image gets seperated, so it's seperation

But the shifting of the images just affects the popout or in-screen effect.
thanks for correcting
