hi guys!
i would need a proggy but wasnt able to find it on the web. maybe somebody would like to make it for me and others that may need it?
ok my problem is this:
i have a Y connector attached to the gpu. on one end there is the iz3d monitor and on the other there will soon be a projector.
the iz3d has a resolution of 1620x1080, and the projector 1024x768.
The Y connector works only if only one of the two devices is ON.
what i would like is a proggy that runs in the taskbar, in which i can set up 2 resolutions and that detects a keystroke on the keyboard and changes the resolution accordingly. so if for example i hit F11 the resolution is ok for the iz3d, if i hit F12 the resolution is ok for the projectors. (on BOTH screens.) im on windows vista...
anybody abel to do this?
thnx
igor

Don't you mean 1680 x 1050?
So as far as the computer is concerned, you have a single monitor, correct? And you just want to change resolution on that one monitor, which could be either an iZ3D or a projector?

On Vista you can right-click the desktop hit 'Personalize' then 'Display Settings' and change the resolution to whatever. So you want a program that will bind that to a hotkey? You should try MultiRes, its should be simple enough for your needs: http://www.entechtaiwan.com/util/multires.shtm(click the floppy disk icon on the top-left to download)

I think it is because if you have the settings for the iz3d (1680x1050), turn off the computer to change the cables to the projectors and reboot you might loose them and have to hardreset. Is this why? I sometimes still forget to change resolution before changing so i kinda know the issue. Knows to little about modern programming to fix it though.

hi guys! i would like the proggy just for lazyness.. i hate to search for a free spot on my desktop (its full of icons) and change res on both screens to fire up the beamers. so it would be much faster and easier to do via hotkey.basically one hotkey sets to iz3d res, the other hotkey sets to the projector res.
