Bleen Responded!

The simplest of working Bleen prototypes would represent a huge breaktrough in science.  Far more than the petty $250,000 they are seeking through Indiegogo.  These Bleen guys need to cut down on the video production budget and hire sharper business people - something is off with that financial goal.  Clearly, they don't seem to grasp the financial opportunity they are missing.

The other day, MTBS ran a story that the Bleen product line as promoted goes against the laws of science as we know it (and as true holographic experts know it).  They have already raised over $40,000 through equity-free crowdfunding, and MTBS wanted to see a substantial proof of concept before this campaign is allowed to continue with confidence.

I suspect the money they spent on the video is precisely what their business model demands. A huckster's product is all sales pitch, and not the object being sold.

If you look at their videos and pictures, they all look based on some kind of generic scenes. I think they are all made using videos and pictures databases.
As example if you put the "fashion" picture into google image, you discover that it's from from the shutterstock.com database.
I also tried the same way for the "music" picture and I discovered that it is in use all over the web.

So I think their videos making was not so expensive.

Looking into their website, it's like if they ever did everything, but everything look empty.
It's all in the look, nothing in the content.

Citing "any dissemination, distribution or copying of this e-mail is prohibited" is doing that too. ;)

They need to be stopped. The poor people sending them money will not get a hologram system as what is being promised is just not possible. If you want to see some real holograms then check out these early art holograms from the Global Images Hologram Art Collection

I reported this campaign to Indiegogo several weeks ago, as it is utterly ridiculous and breaks just about every rule of physics out there. Its clearly a well financed scam by a group of Ukranians. Their 'virtual office' in San Francisco is a real estate agent if you look it up on Streetview, all their videos show CGI or stock photos.

This is the reply I got from Indiegogo.

I also reported them to Paypal, and got an automated response that was useless.
Now waiting for the cries of 'give me my money back' from the poor people who have invested in this.

I tweeted @bleeninc to ask to see real photos, real video, to see their prototype and to get info about their patent but they have nothing. Indiegogo can't be run by complete idiots surely? Maybe they have insurance to cover them against scammers so don't care. Weird
