With multiple VR drivers arriving on the market as well as a growing number of native VR games, we will soon have a quality assurance methodology that holds up to public scrutiny without infringing on artistic choices.  "VR Ready" will have a real meaning soon enough! ;=)

does vr ready mean

good story, nice setting, good graphics
game is running stable and smooth

perfect hud
perfect water
perfect shadows
perfect sky, stars, clouds
perfect head tracking
perfect support of stem, omni, delta six, reactive grib ...
perfect support of oculus rift, castAR ...

will there be any games out fulfilling these all in near future ?
i have my doubts ...

best regards FR3D

once we hit 2 dozen driver solutions do you plan to have 2 dozen logos?

I think you should only rate the game content and then maybe add a compatability listing for different drivers (like Driver A: Green, Driver B: Orange, Driver C: Red) ... for full compatible, small visual problems, not playable

I think something like this should not be limited to the drivers, but it should be open to all VR applications. I am talking about new games with VR in mind, mods and other VR applications. For example I would love to get a rating on my WoW mod once we will release it, but it does not use any drivers because it implements Rift support via hacking.

So how about creating such a rating system for software with native VR implementation?

Yeah. I should have added this logo to the teaser list. Sorry about that.

I love the idea.

I think it should include native-support VR games as well as mods.

Even w/ native rendering, there can still be anomalies or bad design that makes for a sub-par experience.

It would be nice to have a list of all games in the same place.
