BBC To Abandon 3D TV Experiment

The BBC has become the latest broadcaster to signal the death of 3D TV - for now, at least.

The Radio Times reports that the Beeb is to put their 3D experiment on hold at the end of 2013.

Can't wait for the day when all channels will be in 3D! However, I imagine that they would probably have to find a way to broadcast the channel in both 2D and 3D (maybe have separate channels for each option?) , as there would be a lot of "old geezers" who would want to stick to good ol' 2D.
