New screening venue will be used at this year's fest

ROME -- The Venice Film festival on Monday announced plans for a new sideline award for the festival's best Stereoscopic 3D film, adding a cutting-edge aspect to the world's oldest film festival.
The festival also said that this year's festival, the 66th, will feature a new screening facility, the Sala Perla 2, which will seat 450 and be used for films in the Critic's Week and Venice Days sidebars.

these are the most interesting news about STEREOSCOPIC technology !!!
and its the proof that we enter in a new era full of hope for the 3d movies using technology such as DOLBY 3D and forget others like blue red glasses.
i said blue red because the use of the term ANAGLYPHE is not the right term for that technique.
ANAGLYPHE is a Greek word and means that the object comes out from the backround, but not completely!
