Jan 16th "My Bloody Valentine 3D" website up & running

The Real D 3D powered movie is directed by Patrick Lussier of scream one, two, three fame but did you know that he also directed The Mighty Ducks (1996), Mimic (1997) , Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998), Dracula 2000 ,Red Eye (2005),The Eye (2008/I) & White Noise 2: The Light (2007) to name a few? Not a bad pedigree for horror fans minus Mighty Ducks.

Anyways the "My Bloody Valentine 3D" website (obviously not the "enter website" image above located here), is well featured with the pseudo-3D effect of the pickaxe in the foreground following your mouse when you move over it. Maybe somebody who has the tech-know how could create a 3-D.gif file (admittedly very large one) to go into our MTBS gallery?

There are also the trailer, synopsis, casting crew, photos downloads, wallpapers and even widgets available at the website here. Notice on the animated background of the website the audience wearing their 3-D glasses. Enjoy and happy waiting.

The website is really cool! Can't say I have ever seen anything like it before as the simulated 3D effect is very well done!

Thanks guys nice to know that it's not just me impressed with this website. Now if we could only get "Freke1" working his .gif magic that would make one hell of a pseudo-3-D animated picture for the gallery? I may PM him to see what he thinks.

Great website! Congratulations! :D
And the movie seems very interesting!
Maybe because it's Horror/Thriller, a genre that I simply adore! :D
I so can't wait for the movie to come out and I really do hope it will be available to watch in Romania's Theatres!

Hi

It's very easy to make this stuff - there's a "make animation GIF" menu in StereoPhoto Maker (free).
Here's my quick attempt:

(I can't use mtbs3D pm service and upload to gallery)
