The time is nigh, the shipping confirmation email has gone out, there's (hopefully) only a month or so to go before the first kits are in our hands. So what do we need to have ready to assemble them?
I'd assume some sturdy tape (Gaffers tape or Duck tape), a knife for scutting/scoring plastiboard for the case, and possibly a soldering iron for any wiring.
Do we need to provide our own mounting hardware (ski googles to cannibalise/welding-mask mount/3-strap rig)? Any extra cables?

I might be wrong, but I think you get everything the assembled devkit is, just... unassembled.

Those weren't shipping confirmation emails though? It simply was a "we'll need an address to ship to at some point" email. I received one and I'm on the December bandwagon.

i'm with you on the first batch, and i'm under the impression some time and some hot glue are pretty much all is needed to get the job done.

I think Palmer said just some hot glue, but it couldn't hurt to have duct tape handy.
