Taking on a console mindset, Facebook's Oculus has finally revealed the Oculus Quest.  Featuring inside-out positional tracking, the HMD also boasts 360 degree audio, 1600 X 1440 pixels per eye resolution, adjustable lens positions, 64GB of storage memory, Quest Touch controllers, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.

The Quest is being marketed as supporting Rift-level games which means that a lot of titles we have come to know and love on the Oculus Rift are having paired down versions ported to the Quest.  At launch, they are expected to have at least 50 Quest titles ready to go.

Best part of the deal?  $399 for the HMD; a very competitive rate for what we hope will be an effective stand-alone HMD.  Perhaps the biggest feature is what it doesn't come with...wires!

Let's see how things progress!

All ingredients just right...

Surprisingly that include pricing too(Honestly i expected $550)

Compare it with what HTC offering with Vive Focus

You can see competition is non existent.

Since no major player offer 6DOF controller, add isult to injury there are no must have apps for Vive Focus

Only thing i honestly think lacking is Battery life ... a viable way to use powerbanks is must ... Also they must switch to SnapDragon 845 before actually bring them to market ... reason being 845 is 25 to 45 percent high performing depend on apps.

Also All in one being like Console ( having non upgradeable locked hardware) selecting best available processor makes lot of sense if it do not increase price dramatically Since Xiaomi Do offer this processor on their cheaper Poco phones

Why Xiaomi Partner on GO range , Oculus Can't ask xiaomi to do same for them???
