There is virtually no 3D. For nVidia users I would say it is like gaming at 20% depth with no pop-out at all. On my 23" screen. The depth is so weak (at the game's max) that I had to take of my glasses to see if it was 3D (check for blurring etc). I can no longer play games at such low depths.

There is a wierd halo around the gun which is what you stare through most of the time.

If you tweak the game's ini file you can increase depth to make it look 'standard' (still without popout) but the halo become very distracting and similar artifacts affect all other items in game (lamposts, units, bins everything)

I only held back from giving it the lowest score because performance is impressive and at the game's default max depth (minimal depth) you hardly see the artifacts.

  • Check here if the game has no discernible out of screen effects because the convergence settings are locked out, or the game has native stereoscopic 3D support which doesn't feature out of screen effects.
