1. Don't aplly AA (MSAA 4X), play only with AAA or you will get very dark (unplayable) picture in game.
2. In DX11 settings turn off "DOF"
3. Reduce video settings to "high" instead of "very high" or you will get blur anomaly errors.

Overall: this is the best experience for this game in 3d (or u can try DX10 but u lost tessellation).
I recommend play for metro 2033 with DDD

Part II: Required Game Setting Reductions & Adjustments

  • Reduced or turned off depth of field.
  • QA penalty: 5%
  • Turned off Anti-Aliasing. This is required if AA makes the game visually unplayable or the AA reduces frames per second to ridiculously low levels like one to two FPS in 3D mode. Do not select this if it is just a method of getting more performance out of a slower graphics card.
  • QA penalty: 5%
  • You cannot isolate the specific graphics option that causes the anomaly, and instead have to turn the overall graphics setting down to "medium" or between lowest and highest.
  • QA penalty: 10%
    Total penalties: 3

    Part III: Top Level Anomalies

    Total penalties: 0

    Part IV: Secondary Anomalies

    Total penalties: 0
