AT A RECENT event at Technicolor’s premises in London, the company announced its push into the 3D market.

To this end it showed off Hitachi’s new Wooo H001 mobile handset, which is capable of displaying 3D content thanks on the 854×480, 3.1-inch stereoscopic screen.

The screen’s design means that the 3D display can be used without glasses, but it does need to be viewed at a specific angle in order to get the full 3D effect.
