Manchester leads the way in making VR a reality for all

Two years after world-leading 3D firm EON Reality opens its European headquarters in Manchester reporter Lucy Roue attends their experience workshop to try out the latest virtual reality inventions.

For 10 seconds of my morning I am the most famous person on the planet. Akin to the likes of Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo, my slightly bemused face is plastered across billboards across the globe, I dominate all the headlines and even have my own perfume range.

Droves of adoring fans cheer me on and thanks to the ‘interactive mirror’ before me I am also plastered on to a footballer’s body holding up the World Cup. However, this is not some sort of surreal dream – instead it is just the tip of the ice berg for the capabilities of 3D giant EON Reality.
