Toy industry giant Mattel is partnering with Google to revive its classic View-Master toy as a virtual reality headset, the companies announced this morning.
The View-Master —that plastic gizmo which looks like a pair of binoculars, and displays stereoscopic images from cardboard discs embedded with film— will return to stores this fall as a $30 frame which fits around a smartphone.
