The Oculus Rift has done wonders in revitalizing interest for virtual reality. But two things hold the Rift back from totally suspending disbelief: its display and the wire(s) snaking out of it.
Created by GameFace Labs, the GameFace is a Rift-like pair of goggles with a 2.5K display (aka 2560 x 1440 resolution), which provides 78 percent more pixel clarity than the Rift (DK2) and Project Morpheus’s 1080p (1920 x 1080 resolution) display.
