Belgian takes virtual reality to include realistic movements

The 29-year-old Jan Goetgeluk from Ghent has so far raised 800 000 dollars for his Virtuix virtual reality platform that is set to turn gaming into an even more realistic experience.This self-made entrepreneur living in the US promoted his Virtuix Omni, complete with headsets, built-in screens and imitation weapons as the next major milestone in virtual reality at the popular E3 gaming fair this week. Goetgeluk explained his invention, saying: “Realistic movements remain a shortcoming of games. After working on a prototype for two years, we have now come up with a feasible solution which fits into your living room.”
