World’s largest projector plant churns out Epson’s first 3D model

Wired travelled to the Republic of China to see Epson’s first 3D projector, emerge blinking into existence. As one of only two companies able to manufacture the sophisticated LCD panels (Sony is the other), Epson’s hotly anticipated flagship home cinema projector, the EH-TW9000 is set to push 3D projection into our homes. And the good news is that it works with Panasonic’s 3D glasses as well as Epson’s bundled 3D spex.
