THOUSANDS of games fans queued last night to get their hands on the 3DS Nintendo console.
The 3D gadget went on UK sale at midnight and gamers cleared the shelves after 1,200 stores across the country opened up.
First to get the device was Marwan Elgamal, 21. The student, who slept outside HMV in London’s Oxford Street on Wednesday night to be first in line, said: “I’m just really passionate about the consoles.”
