SUWON, Gyeonggi – Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics, the world’s two largest flatscreen-television manufacturers, are engaged in a war of words over the respective merits of their next-generation 3-D TV models.

Samsung Electronics, the world’s biggest producer of liquid crystal display televisions, yesterday introduced a new range of full high-definition, 3-D smart televisions at the company’s digital media research institute here in Suwon.
