MWC 2011: Atmel works with Nvidia on 15in tablet touchscreens

Atmel has said it is working with Nvidia to move multitouch technology to large screen form

A reference design has been designed around Nvidia’s Tegra 2 mobile processor and Atmel’s maXTouch mXT1386 touch controller.

The aim is to support touchscreens up to 15 inches for tablet PCs and netbooks.
