DDD cheers rise of 3D technology
LONDON (SHARECAST) – DDD, the 2D to 3D image conversion specialist, reported a sharp rise in shipments of TVs and PCs using its technology in the six months to 31 December.
DDD, whose technology is used in Samsung televisions and Acer computers, said more than 2.5m units using its TriDef 2D to 3D conversion were shipped over the full year, compared with just over 1m in the first half and less than 100,000 the previous year.
