GeekDad ponders: Is 3D worth waiting for?

There aren’t many things you need to come of age to enjoy these days, technology-wise. To this end I’ve enjoyed trying a 3D TV, but my littlest two are simply too young to use it yet.

It’s given the new device a fresh allure in their eyes though. They talk in hushed tones about “Dad’s 3D TV” and discuss between themselves what they think it will be like when they are old enough to try it.
