Vizio Expands Line Of Passive 3D Glasses TVs

LAS VEGAS – Three-days prior to the opening of International CES, Vizio revealed that it is showing here this week 21 1080p LCD TV models in screen sizes ranging from 22 to 71 inches that all incorporate its new “Theater 3D” passive glasses technology.

Vizio is using the “Theater 3D” moniker on HDTVs using the passive (polarized) 3D glasses system, which is said to deliver up to a two times brighter picture with significantly less crosstalk and flicker than current 3D TVs using active shutter glasses.
