Killzone 3 ‘won’t alienate’ players that don’t have 3D, Move
Guerrilla Games wants to appeal to core Killzone fans and new audiences
Killzone 3 is being billed as a technical showcase for PS3, no doubt about that.
But we’re not just talking about its graphical and audio production values. Developer Guerrilla Games has opted to support stereoscopic 3D and it’s also planning on showing sceptical gamers how PlayStation Move can be utilised in a hardcore FPS.
So it’s clearly important for the first-party Sony developer to push the system’s capabilities, but studio manager Herman Hulst has promised that those without 3D TVs and Move controllers won’t be sidelined.
“3D is a great feature, but it’s an option to the game,” he told 1UP. “I don’t want people who don’t have 3D to have a suboptimal experience.
