AMD’s Stereo 3D Technology is supported by an advanced and open ecosystem that, in conjunction with specific AMD hardware and software technologies, enables 3D display capabilities for many PC applications and experiences.

How it Works

To give the appearance of 3D, separate overlapping images of the same scene are displayed simultaneously. One image is meant for the left eye and the other image is meant for the right. With the support of ATI Radeon™ graphics, activation software, 3D-capable monitors, and active shutter glasses, viewers are able to perceive multiple 2D images as a single 3D image.
