Additional Monster Vision™ MAX 3D Eyeglasses will carry a suggested retail price of $169.95/pair. Monster Vision™ MAX 3D glasses feature a stylish and lightweight high-gloss black design that allows users to wear them for hours without experiencing any fatigue. They are sized to fit all head sizes and may even be worn over prescription glasses.
“First-in-Class” Benefits for Consumers, Retailers and Custom Integrators
As the first wireless 3D eyewear system of its kind to offer universal compatibility with all major brands of 3D flatscreen TVs, Monster Vision MAX 3D represents a huge advancement in the realm of 3D Shutter eyewear technology. MAX 3D is also the first and only 3D Shutter eyewear system that utilizes RF transmission instead of the standard infrared transmission found in TV OEM Glasses, allowing viewers to move freely around the room while watching and still enjoy the full 3D imaging effect. Importantly, with the ability to work with all major 3D TVs, MAX 3D overcomes a huge deficiency in the 3D World today for both consumers and retailers. For consumers, MAX 3D makes choosing accessory eyewear simple, with no worries of compatibility. For retailers, MAX 3D eliminates the need to carry multiple brands of glasses at high cost of inventory. And for custom integrators, the guaranteed reliability of Monster Vision’s exclusive Zigbee RF transmission protocol with Active Sync technology ensures higher customer satisfaction with performance and benefits that outclass standard infrared-based eyeglasses.
More Freedom of Movement for 3D TV Viewers
Maximizing the 3D experience means giving viewers as much freedom of movement as possible, and as broad a line of sight. With conventional glasses, the infrared communication between the TV and the eyewear requires that viewers stay glued to their TV sets in order to prevent loss of sync. MAX 3D is the world’s first and only 3D Shutter Eyewear system that
utilizes RF technology for full freedom of movement without any loss of sync. This makes casual
viewing of broadcast sports and movies virtually the same as viewing any 2D program, without the movement limitations imposed by current IR-based 3D eyewear. Additionally, the MAX 3D Transmitter is capable of supporting an unlimited number of MAX 3D eyewear within a 200-foot radius, allowing many users in almost any sized home theater.
The advanced MAX 3DShutter LCD lens technology builds on the higher performance advantages of RF and universal functionality and provides a faster shutter speed than conventional 3D eyewear. MAX 3D’s shutter speeds exceed the performance of TV OEM Glasses, minimizing any symptoms of poor 3D optical effects such as ghosting or dimming. While performance will vary depending on the 3D TV display used, MAX 3D ensures the best possible 3D Shutter performance.
Adding to “right-out-of-the-box” user convenience, the MAX 3D Transmitter includes all of the most current TV Shutter IR Codes frequency codes preprogrammed and stored, so there is no programming time. The USB Port allows MAX 3D’s transmitter to add new codes for future brands of TVs preventing any obsolesence and more value for the customer.
Head Monster Noel Lee noted: “With Monster Vision™ MAX 3D, customers now have a choice to truly get the most out of their home entertainment 3D experience. Our RF technology allows the viewers to enjoy all of their 3D programming without having to be glued to one TV viewing position. Furthermore, our study in optics and lens shutter technology allows us to achieve more accurate shutter response from each lens than any other TV OEM eyewear today. Thanks to our uniquely innovative method for delivering the 3D signal, wearers of our Monster Vision MAX 3D glasses will not only be able to immerse themselves in a world of incredibly realistic 3D images, but they will be able to watch for hours without common effects of fatigue and eye strain caused by traditional IR based Shutter lenses.”
How Monster Vision™ MAX 3D Works
The Monster Vision™ MAX 3D system works through an innovative process whereby the ACTIVE SYNC technology allows the wireless Universal 3D Shutter Transmitter to listen to the signal from any 3D-enabled flat panel display. The transmitter then wirelessly decodes the shutter signals and transmits them to a sensor embedded in the glasses. Through this connection (via ZigBee’s 2.4 GHz radio technology), coupled with interference rejection software and sync correction, the specially designed lenses in the Monster Vision™ MAX 3D glasses react electro-chromatically, literally blinking faster than the eye can see to create the most reliable, believable and immersive 3D images. Additionally, ACTIVE SYNC is the only technology that allows Monster Vision™ MAX 3D glasses to work with one TV even when other 3D TVs or Monster Vision™ MAX 3D Shutter Transmitters are in close proximity.
