The agreement also allows Cogeco Cable to offer to its customers CBC’s coverage of the 64 matches of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa(TM) on Cogeco On Demand, also free of charge, starting June 12.

The third place final on July 10 and the first place final on July 11 will also be offered in 3D (in English only) on channel 464 in Ontario and 544 in Quebec to all Cogeco customers with an HD terminal, a 3DTV and, of course, 3D glasses. Plus, CBC’s coverage of all games will be offered free of charge over Cogeco On Demand 24 hours after live broadcast for a one-month period.
