Living with a Samsung 3D TV

Lately, I’ve spent some time checking out Samsung’s first 3D LED TV, and I’ve found it very impressive Not only is it one of the first 3D TVs on the market, but it also does a great job with normal HD content and provides a variety of “widgets” capable of bringing in information from the Internet.
The specific model is the Samsung UN46C7000 46-Inch LED TV. This is a 240-Hz LCD-based display, with LED edge-lighting. Thus far, I’ve been able to use it for two kinds of 3D content. I connected it to a new Scientific Atlanta cable box from Time Warner Cable to watch highlights of the Masters Golf Tournament in 3D, via On Demand, and was generally quite impressed.
