LG BX580 hands-on

The first wave of 3D Blu-ray players are finally arriving in Asia and the upcoming LG BX580 is one of the hot contenders. Based primarily on its 2D BD570, the sleek BX580 has received a new mirror finish and shares many common features including high-speed 802.11n Wi-Fi, NetCast Web content streaming and DLNA media playback (more on these later). The BX580, which is due in May, will probably cost S$859 (US$632.44) according to LG and is slightly pricier than Samsung’s BD-C6900 with comparable 3D playback capability.
