3D television arrives, with Samsung sets going on Sale from Monday

PEOPLE will be able to buy the first 3D internet TV sets from Monday.

Samsung announced yesterday that it would be first to put the next-generation sets on store shelves.

Shoppers will be able to road-test the technology at special booths staffed by trained experts at retailers such as Harvey Norman.

Buyers can choose from three different models of rechargeable glasses required to enjoy 3D content on the new models, which start at $2500.
