3D Hockey Broadcast Set for March 24

On a week when TV manufacturers are making announcements about the availability of 3D HDTVs and Blu-ray players in Canada, a significant event is taking place south of the border: the first-network hockey telecast in 3D. MSG will show the March 24 game between the Rangers and Islanders in 3D at the Theatre at Madison Square Gardens; and the game will also be carried in 3D by Cablevision, a U.S. cable-TV provider.
