All TVs to `feature 3D in three years`

Sony, Panasonic and Samsung have announced new 3D TVs as ESPN claims every new display will feature the technology in the next three years.

According to the Disney-owned sports channel`s senior vice-president for technology Chuck Pagano: `I bet you in three years every new set will have 3D embedded into it.`

Speaking about this summer`s World Cup, which is to be covered by ESPN in 3D, he added: `You have to look at quality control in a different manner. You have to get all the systems to work (together), and this includes people systems. That is what we are focusing on.`
