NRL set for 3D broadcasts in 2010

In an Australian first, the NRL is set to broadcast live games in 3D across live sites in Sydney this season.

Following in the footsteps of the English Premier League, which screened a match between Manchester United and Arsenal in three dimensions through Sky TV a fortnight ago, the NRL has held talks with broadcasters about a similar move in Australia.

"We`ve already talked to the broadcasters about the possibility of some use of live sites during the season," Gallop told the Sydney Morning Herald.
