Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is the latest in a string of major summer 3D theatricals that will not include these same eye-popping effects in their home video release, but it`s making up for that with a number of bonus features.

As expected, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment will launch its third Ice Age animated movie on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on Oct. 27.

The title will street as a three-disc Blu-ray/standard-definition DVD combo ($39.99), two-DVD set ($34.98) and single DVD ($29.98). Pre-orders are due Sept. 30.

The Blu-ray combo pack include an exclusive digital story maker and such exclusive featurettes as ‘Evolution Expedition,’ ‘Buck…Easel to Weasel’ and ‘Falling for Scratte,’ among others. The set also will include exclusive digital copy.
