Panasonic has announced today that it will display its world`s first 3D Full HD Plasma Home Theatre System (3D FHD) this week at the Panasonic Convention 2009. The system appeared at CEATEC JAPAN 2008 in October 2008 and the International Consumer Electronics Show 2009 in Las Vegas to very strong reviews.

The 3D Full HD Plasma Home Theatre System from Panasonic enables the viewing of true-to-life 3D FHD images by using a Panasonic 103-inch Plasma HDTV and a Panasonic Blu-ray Disc (BD) player, capable of distributing full High Definition (1920-by-1080 pixels) images to the left eye and right eye.

“Panasonic is once again at the forefront of innovative technology. This new 3D FHD Home Theatre System goes well beyond conventional 3D, since previous models lacked the ability to deliver true High Definition picture quality in 3D due to a lack of bandwidth and to limited storage capacity," said Toshiro Tsuchiya, Deputy Managing Director, Panasonic Marketing Europe.
