One of the most important things that MTBS and The S-3D Gaming Alliance does is to educate and encourage game developers to implement S-3D support in their future titles. While we work at an industry level, it is equally important to reach out to young minds who are just getting a fresh start in the industry, and are looking for the next great thing to help their career.

Last week, we had the honour of helping put together a special lecture about stereoscopic 3D gaming for the National School For Video Game Design in Paris, France. The lecture featured Habib Zargarpour, Senior Art Director for Electronic Arts, Andrew Oliver, CTO and Co-Founder of Blitz Games Studios, and Neil Schneider, Executive Director of the S-3D Gaming Alliance.

What made this lecture extremely cool is that while we couldn’t demonstrate S-3D gaming content to the audience, it was all done remotely via special video conference rooms from all over the world. Vancouver, Toronto, The UK, two locations in France, etc. This was a very new experience for us!
