New Editorial, S-3D Webcam Guide, Birthday Wishes!

By June 30, 2009 April 4th, 2020 News

News on three fronts today. First, Disney Interactive has been aggressively promoting Toy Story 3 and G-Force 3D video games. There is a fair bit of controversy around this because our sources tell us they are only releasing these titles in anaglyph. See how MTBS weights in on this in our latest editorial.

Stereoscopic 3D webcams and dual webcams are starting to grow popular for S-3D gamers, and WheatstoneHolmes has put an instructional video together to explain how to make your own S-3D videos!

This is only the first version for the MTBS community, and all ideas are welcome. Share your thoughts in this discussion thread.

Last but not least, iZ3D has announced that their new experimental glasses will be ready soon. These glasses are designed to significantly cut down on cross-talk or ghosting between the eyes, and resolve any remaining color balance issues. According to Vadim Asadov, iZ3D’s VP of Marketing, each iZ3D monitor owner will get two complimentary pairs of glasses. Further announcements on timing and fulfillment are expected soon.

One more thing! Everyone make sure to wish our very own MetalQueen a happy birthday! MetalQueen runs our newsfeed, writes our movie reviews, is our camera person, and does a fair bit of web design too!
