Big news today! iZ3D has released the 1.10RC1 version of their driver, and Vadim Asadov (BlackQ) has a special message for you today:

Dear iZ3D users and friends!

We hope this release will further improve your 3D experience – a lot of bugs were removed and code and profiles updated (see ChangeLog for information). We know all of you are experts in 3D and know very well how to reach the best settings in 3D for video games. We , all together, want to make 3D a mass market. As part of these efforts, we significantly changed the 3D Wizard within our driver, and it would be great if you can find the time to try it and ask any friends around you who are new to 3D to reach the best settings using it.

We also added a small non-documented gift for you – 3D YouTube support – try it (your browser needs to have admin rights) – open side-by-side video in YouTube and make it full screen – it will be 3D then with our driver enabled. Here are a few samples:

Sample I and Sample II(this one is the best).

With 3D respect!

iZ3D Team and BlackQ

NOTE: We have learned that the feature is more successful with the FireFox browser, and is still in development. Please share your results in our discussion forums!

Is everyone going to Dimension-3 Expo next week? MTBS will be there!

Dimension-3 is one of our favorite conferences, and it’s no wonder! Some of the leading speakers include Steve Schklair (CEO of 3ality), John Ra Benson (CG Supervisor for Coraline), Dider Debons (CTO of 3DTV Solutions), Brian Lenz (BskyB), Greg Passmore (PassmoreLab), and more!

Jon Peddie of Jon Peddie Research and MTBS (Neil Schneider), will be joining forces to talk about S-3D gaming, and there will be gaming exhibits by iZ3D and NVIDIA as well. Very exciting!

Here is the best part. One of our members came up with a great idea for the MTBS membership to get connected at Dimension-3 Expo on Wednesday. We love the idea because it’s a great opportunity to meet everyone in person, and to share ideas on strategies moving forward. Please contribute to the thread, and we look forward to seeing you there!
