Is the 3D Standards War Now Moot, iZ3D Rebate Program

We have another story to report on from Game Developers Conference! Similar to Crytek supporting stereoscopic 3D in their CryEngine game engines, we are surprised no one reported on this. In a nutshell, did everyone miss it when the 3D standards war suddenly became unimportant? With Easter Weekend coming up, we will wait until Tuesday to explain why this could very well be with a very interesting interview.

In the meantime, iZ3D has launched a special rebate program. For those unfamiliar, iZ3D’s main sites had limited availability because they were upgrading their servers. To recognize customer patience, they have launched a rebate program that gives new customers a $70 rebate against their iZ3D monitor purchase. Just enter "website" as the coupon code when buying a monitor on or before May 31st, 2009.
