By December 19, 2008April 4th, 2020News

First, if you are looking for the source story about Sony Playstation 3 becoming stereoscopic 3D compatible in 2009 (and no, it is NOT a rumor), you came to the right place! Ask your favorite 3D HDTV and display manufacturer to get in touch with us to arrange for compatibility testing equipment by reaching customer service in our Contact Us page.

Why wait for 2009? It’s the holiday rush, and we want to game in 3D TODAY!

We are going to be putting up some new banner ads shortly for iZ3D. By now you are all aware that their 22″ 3D gaming monitor has been competitively priced at $399.99 US, and while fully compatible with NVIDIA GPUs, ATI GPU owners get more benefits like an additional $50 savings rebate from iZ3D and free DLP/checkerboard 3D support for compatible HDTV solutions.

Something new to add! Now you can try before you buy. Retail store locations began offering the monitor in mid-December, and by January 9th, 2009, the iZ3D solution will be available in ALL Fry’s Electronics and Micro Center specialty retail stores. You can get a current listing of retail availability at 3Drulez.com.

At this time, the iZ3D 22″ monitor is targeted to PC gamers, and you can expect most DirectX 9 compatible PC games to work with iZ3D’s 3D hardware/software solution. MTBS doesn’t do hardware reviews, but if you read through our discussion forums, you will see that they are very active with our community and are very well received by the membership.

If it’s more convenient for you to shop online, you can buy iZ3D monitors at staples.com, newegg.com, amazon.com, pcmall.com, criticalbuy.com, and iZ3D.com. MTBS registered members get an additional 5% discount on iZ3D monitors when bought through their company’s main site.
