iZ3D Price Cut (above CUT!), New Glasses News, Killer 3D Panel!

By December 5, 2008April 4th, 2020News

iZ3D has announced a major price-cut for their iZ3D LLC 22″ 3D monitors. Just $399.99 US. However, that’s not the complete story. Registered MTBS members qualify for a 5% discount off this price on condition that orders are made through the iZ3D website. This discount does not apply for retail purchases or through alternate web sources. The only qualification is that MTBS members are registered with accurate information. An MTBS discount number is temporarily not required as we continue to upgrade our registration system. Just inform iZ3D of your membership so they can confirm with us. One discount per household.

Here’s a crazy idea! Participate with the U-DECIDE Initiative, and you can potentially win an iZ3D monitor for free, along with nearly 60 other prizes!

Need some more news? OK! For several months, iZ3D has been developing a new type of polarized 3D glasses technology to dramatically reduce ghosting and color differences between the user’s eyes. Now they need to determine which of the two release candidates will work the best. To answer this need, iZ3D has started a new 3D glasses beta program where fifty gamers will test the glasses and submit their results. Send a PM to BlackQ (Vadim Asadov) in the MTBS or iZ3D forums to participate.

Still hungry for news? OK! We are still recovering from the 3D Entertainment Summit, but that’s not going to stop us! This year, Meant to be Seen is one of the media sponsors for the Stereoscopic Displays & Applications Conference. They are celebrating their 20th anniversary, and Meant to be Seen will be moderating their special gaming panel that will include:

  • Bob Eminian, Chief Marketing Officer of iZ3D, makers of the iZ3D 22″ 3D monitor and stereoscopic 3D drivers.
  • Andrew Fear, Product Manager for NVIDIA’s Stereoscopic 3D and SLI technologies.
  • Julien Fleck, CTO for DDD, makers of the Tridef stereo drivers.
  • Chris Ward, President of Lightspeed Design, makers of the DepthQ projector series.

This panel will be taped for distribution on the Internet, and I’m certain it will be a memorable event. Share your thoughts on what you think would be interesting questions for the panel.
