New NAW Contest Proposal!

Hello everyone!

Sharky has an idea for a new type of NAW related contest, but we want to get your opinion first to make sure there would be enough participation.

The signature contest was a big success and we discovered that our members are very talented. We would like to try something new which has even bigger game resource prizes and would help drive new players to NAW and the S-3D community.

The idea is to produce an MTBS Nations at War promotional clip to upload to major video streaming pages like YouTube and through the MTBS Gallery.

The resources up for grabs include:

1st place: 20 fighter jets, your current level X $3,000 in NAW dollars, and a free building upgrade of your choice.
2nd place: 10 helicopters, your current level X $2,000 in NAW dollars, and one free factory upgrade of your choice.
3rd place: 10 BIG tanks, your current level X $1,000 in NAW dollars, and one market building upgrade.

There are a few rules to follow:

1) The clip can be uploaded for demonstration, but should only be hosted on MTBS for the time being. Please don’t submit to YouTube or similar sites until the the winner is announced. Upload the clips to the MTBS gallery in the meantime.
2) Your uploaded preview clip should be WMV or DIVX compressed AVI, and should not be bigger than 6 MB.
3) You can use whatever content you want as long as it is not protected by copyright. You can use programs like flstudio (demo) to create your own music.
4) The clip should be between 30 and 90 seconds.

I think this is a great idea, and we’d like to get your input to make sure it works. Post your thoughts HERE.
