MTBS Forums Password Protected

As our forums have grown in popularity, we have become the target of robot spam programs that post very inappropriate content including scams, sales piches, and adult content and pictures (i.e. naked people doing naked things).

This site is very much focused on the video game market, and as such, some of our members are under age and have concerned parents.

While we have multiple moderators in each forum deleting this inappropriate content, some always gets through. To stop this, access to the forums is now completely restricted to MTBS registered members.

Forums still require a separate registration, and we think this should prevent the majority of the incoming SPAM. You can still directly link to threads, but to read them, an MTBS username and password will need to be entered.
