D-Link Wifi 6 Routers at CES 2020

We rang in 2020 at CES by interviewing Rayan Fakhro, Product Line Manager at D-Link Systems, about their latest Wifi 6 mesh routers.  Very interesting stuff with more to come!

Cool! It is nice to see you make it to CES Neil. You always have some juicy demos to show on mtbs3d.com.

I’m quite a heavy networking buff and have two windows servers plus computers and upload videos to youtube. I might be looking at a new router this year if I see something I like. Dlink is a good company and I still have a router I am using as an access point and switch, a DIR-645. I also have powerline networking but stopped using it since I get carried onto other neighbor’s networks and the max speed for my powerline is only like 200 Mbps even if I have gigabit adapters.

My main router is a tp-link touch p5 gigabit router and I’ve been using it for a few years now, its an AC router and works ok for now but there are the new AX models I think wifi 6.

    Good interview,
