Star Trek Bridge Crew at IMAX VR Stations

Some great news for Star Trek Fans!  Just saw that Red Storm has developed a special version of the game that is intended for IMAX VR centers around the world.  IMAX VR is a chain of virtual reality arcades that tend to be co-located with IMAX movie theatres.

The IMAX VR edition features a special mission called Star Trek: Bridge Crew Rescue at Perseph.  Your crew's mission is to explore uncharted space to find a new homeworld for the Vulcan people.  Yeah, we're pretty confident there are some nasty anomalies and mean spirited Klingons that will lie in your path!

We think this is a great marketing opportunity for virtual reality in the home, though we are also hoping that Red Storm will add some (some?  LOTS!) much needed content to the original Star Trek: Bridge Crew.  There are a lot of adventure-hungry captains out there waiting for new missions, and the "Red Shirts" have been enjoying an unusual amount of personal safety with all the interstellar peace going on.  Red Storm, get us some more Bridge Crew content!
