Epic Win, New Messy Basement Episode

L-R: Epic Games Tim Sweeney and Dr. Jon Peddie of Jon Peddie Research at SIGGRAPH 2016
Pictured above is Tim Sweeney, Founder and CEO of Epic Games, accepting his JPR Technology Advancement Award from none other than Dr. Jon Peddie of Jon Peddie Research.  Congrats!

We're a little late, but today's episode of Neil's Messy Basement features interviews with the Head of Cinematics for Leia 3D, and the CEO of Worldviz.  Leia 3D has a new holographic smartphone display and already has a smartphone in the works for 2017.  Worldviz is a market leader in virtual reality CAVE installations and virtual reality software tools.

So come visit Neil's Messy Basement!

Also Immersed 2016 is fast approaching.  There was a hiccup where the startup tables looked to be sold out prematurely, and this is not the case.  All fixed!  There are going to be over 8,000 consumers over the course of three days at the public exhibition (up to 20,000 square feet), plus this is going to be an amazing event for industry and professionals working in the immersive space.  Looking forward to seeing you there!
