OK! You are probably wondering why we have a picture of a steam engine on the front page of MTBS. We have a very good excuse. In today’s episode of Neil’s Messy Basement, we talk about responsible virtual reality, and believe it or not, early locomotives turned out to be a really good (and hysterical) comparable to where the market is today. If you can get through the first ten minutes of ranting and raving, the pay-off is worth it.
Following this, we have an interview with Alon Melchner, President of WakingApp. WakingApp has a free software package that makes it possible for anyone to create virtual reality content without having any programming expertise. Very interesting stuff!
Finally, I’m hoping everyone notices an improvement in the audio quality. We upped our game with a mixer, wireless microphones, and poor fire code wiring. One of our technicians is still missing.
