See You at SVVR Next Week!

Neil Schneider (MTBS) and Karl Krantz (SVVR) at Immersed 2014Arguably the conference we are most excited about, SVVR is taking place next week on May 18 and 19 in San Jose, California. Run by industry pioneer Karl Krantz, it's going to be two days of who's who with representatives from nearly all the key VR device makers, technology makers, software vendors, and lots of media as well.

The Immersive Technology Alliance is looking forward to moderating the Futurists Panel at 8:00AM on May 19th. Yes, we know it's early, but where else are you going to get the opportunity to hear from the virtual reality consultant for The Lawnmower Man, the movie that popularized the concept of VR in the 90's? Or Layla Mah, the Lead Architect for AMD's Liquid VR platform? Mary Spio is always a draw because of Next Galaxy Corp. and her work with Metaverse building. This, plus she invented digital distribution to movie theaters. Even Denise Quesnel from SIGGRAPH and Emily Carr University will be making an appearance.

Karl tells us SVVR could have over 1,200 people in attendance this year, and we are looking forward to meeting everyone. See you at SVVR!
